Hurst Line Lock Installation

This installation was completed without cutting any of the stock brake lines. If need be, the brake system can be returned to stock by removing the custom line lock lines and restoring one stock brake line to its original position at the bottom rear of the proportioning valve.

Parts Required:
1 - Hurst Line Lock 1 - 3/16" Tube, 51" long, Double-ended, bubble flare brake line w/metric thread flare nuts. 2 - 3/16" Tube, Inverted flare male connectors, brass, 1/8" NPT. 2 - 3/16" Inverted flare tubing nuts. 2 - 1/8" NPT Plugs. 1 - Aluminum or steel plate, 2-7/8" x 1-1/2", 3mm or 3/32" thick. This plate will match the back side of the line lock. 3 of each - 1/4-20 Stainless bolts, star washers, nylok nuts. Teflon tape.
Tools Required:
Tubing Bending Tool for 3/16" tubing. Double (Inverted) Flare Tool for 3/16" tubing. Small files, assorted drill bits, electric drill. |
